Me and Tim

My first attempt at this was just not meant to be. I typed something close to “War and Peace” length but it mysteriously disappeared before I was able to publish it. I think it was God’s way of telling me to let it go.

I have been the luckiest Colorado State basketball fan on the planet in the five years that Tim Miles has coached in Fort Collins. He is a remarkable man and a better friend.

Bright, articulate, enthusiastic, creative, funny. Simple words that barely scratch the surface when trying to describe him.

We have shared a lot of stuff in complete confidence. E-mails in the beginning, text messages these days. Some at odd times like right before or after road games. But always a candid and honest dialogue.

He let me into his world as a Division 1 Mens Basketball Head Coach. For that I will be eternally grateful.
